 Food Waste Recycling Workshop

The BCUA hosted a Food Waste Recycling Workshop on December 5th at the Life Safety Building in Paramus. Over 50 municipal representatives attended. This meeting brought together several food waste success stories. The success stories include descriptions of their innovative food waste management practices, quantitative results and lessons learned. Speakers included the following: Karen Marx , Leonia Environmental Commission; Samuel Chiang, Bogota School District; Adison Evans, Neighborhood Compost; Sean Hamlin, Village of Ridgewood; Gary Sondermeyer, Bayshore Recycling.
