Tires
Since 1995, the BCUA has sponsored a Municipal Tire Recycling Program. With over 240 million tires being discarded every year, tires take up large amounts of landfill space unnecessarily and present an adverse environmental impact on our solid waste stream.
The 2026 Municipal Tire Recycling Program consists of four one-day tire amnesty collection days located throughout the county to allow residents to drop off tires for recycling at two convenient locations:
