Mobile Paper Shredding

Privacy experts often recommend that individuals shred files, tax documents, credit cards and bank statements, and other items which could be used to commit identity theft.  In order to provide Bergen County residents the opportunity to participate in a document shredder program, the BCUA has implemented the Mobile Paper Shredding Program.  The Mobile Paper Shredding Program consists of regional and municipal shredding days.

BCUA Sponsored Municipal Shredding Events for 2025 (Coming soon)

The BCUA's mobile shredding collection vehicle visits participating municipalities throughout the year for local shredding events. All of the events are open from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.(unless otherwise noted). Events are rain or shine.
